GISELA GUZMÁN

GISELA GUZMÁN - Director of experimental cinema, video art and digital art. Her work delves into the intersection of analog and digital formats, the reappropriation and experimentation of the moving image. Begins with the exploration and interest in creating a closed-circuit video technique of its own to generate and project moving images.
Her experimental pieces, digital art and installations have been exhibited in Mexico, United States, Europe and Latin America in places such as the Center for Digital Culture, the Carrillo Gil Museum of Art, the Siqueiros Public Art Room, Los Angeles Center for Digital Arts and Los Angeles Filmforum and at festivals as DocsMx, CÓDEC, Fisura, ULTRAcinema and Proceso de Error.
She is also co-founder of AGITATE: 21C (Avant-Garde International Team at The Epicenter of 21 Century) international platform for avant-garde artists of video and experimental cinema. In addition she works as a VJ and teaches Art and Digital Culture.
